Freedom of the Seas Cabin 1556

Is the Freedom of the Seas Cabin 1556 A Good Cabin

Question:

Is the Freedom of the Seas Deck 10 Cabin Number 1556 going to have noise issues with the outboard whirlpool which is just above it? Also, I’m concerned about the overhanging spa blocking the sun on our balcony.

Answer:

Educated guess says that noise should not be a problem based on the following:

1) The reinforcement under the cantilevered whirlpools adds some sound deadening

2) Whirlpools, in general, have plenty of foam insulation to keep them warm — more sound deadening

3) The tempered glass around the cantilevered whirlpools will direct noise away from your room — especially given the angle on the glass surrounding the whirlpool.

Regarding sun blockage on Freedom of the Seas Cabin Number 1556

Freedom of the Seas Cabin 1556

Note that Freedom of the Seas Cabin 1556 is Directly under the Whirlpool that Protrudes over the edge of the Ship.

The overhang is fairly significant and will impact the sun when it is directly over the ship. However, the position of the sun relative to the track of the ship is more likely to play more of a factor in how much sun you get vs the presence of a cantilevered balcony overhang. There is no doubt, you will lose some sunlight.
